Baby I’m going on an aeroplane

Baby I’m going on an aeroplane, and I don’t know if I’ll be back again.

Vienna: the Imperial City, the City of Music. At one point in time it was the centre of Europe as it was the capital of the Holy Roman Empire and later the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire with the Habsburg Dynasty in charge. The historical importance of this city can still be seen today and makes a visit oh so worth your while!

Barefoot

During summer, Belgium is the Walhalla for festivals. Over the years, there are gatherings that are in indispensable in our agenda and some new festivals that are making their entrance. A couple of years ago Charlotte De Cock decided to create Barefoot, a place of love and peace inspired on the philosophy of Burning Man. The House Academy was invited to experience the third edition of Barefoot & we got the opportunity to interview Charlotte for a little Quality First Q&A.

#paradisecity15 recap

So, last weekend it was time for the first edition of Paradise City Festival. For the occasion we received the opportunity to become a citizen of the City of the future.

A City where all Quality First elements came together; a green haven supported by some carefully chosen electronic & indie music. Think: healthy bites & drinks, eco friendly fashion and many more. Here’s a little recap in pics:

The Meister Sessions

A couple of weeks ago we were invited to experience the first Meister Session. The event had all the ingredients of a Quality First gathering! An exclusive co-creative workshop mixed with some delicious Jägermeister drinks located in the newest hotspot in Ghent, Mòris. Want to discover more about the latest Jägermeister artistic collab? Then keep on reading!

Sneakers, dj’s best friends

A good pair of sneakers is a househead’s best friend. Since they were primarily designed for sports or other forms of physical exercise, they make a great dancing shoe. But another big upside to sneakers is that they are fashionable items too! If you have a couple of pairs, you can match them with your outfit. Also, keeping your sneakers on rotation can only be good to them, because after a dancing night they can use a few days of rest. If you want to keep those ugly crease lines to a minimum, they need time to breathe and get back into shape.

Now, where to get those ‘I-would-never-go-out-without-them’-shoes? We did a little sneaker trip through Ghent and visited some shops!

Night Shift 2015

Last Saturday was the kickoff of the new edition of the networking event Night Shift.
First up was Ghent. Couldn’t attend? Here’s a little report.
